Singer cum actor Park Yoochun’s fanclub ‘Blessing Yoochun’ took part in a global donation project to celebrate the second year since it opened.
As a fanclub that is open to ‘noona (older female)’ and ‘imo (auntie)’ fans over the age of 30, ‘Blessing Yoochun’ was founded in September of 2010 and has been taking part in various voluntary projects till now. The members recently celebrated their second anniversary and have gotten together with Naver’s Happy Bean to give underprivileged children a helping hand and a warm meal.
Through their donation project, they have provided 6 million Won to child centers in eight regions of Korea that are struggling to provide meals for their children. The fans have also donated $4,400 (approximately 4.5 million Won) in supplies to the ‘KHUSNUL KHOTIMAH’ orphanage in Indonesia.
‘Blessing Yoochun’ stated, “As noonas and aunties who love and support Park Yoochun, we will continue to give back to the community and share our love.”
Meanwhile, Park Yoochun has garnered even more popularity than before with his role in SBS’ ‘Rooftop Prince’ and has recently completed his Asian fanmeet tour. He is currently looking over potential future productions.
