Popular idol group JYJ attended the press conference for KBEE 2012 on Wednesday morning.

JYJ members were appointed as the honorary ambassadors for Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo 2012 (KBEE). The expo is to promote brands of Korea to various overseas businesses and corporations. The KBEE decided to choose the most loved ‘Hallyu’ stars of both Korea and Japan as honorary ambassadors.

Previously, Super Junior was the honorary ambassador and miss A was for Bangkok and SECRET for Paris. JYJ is famous in not only Korea, but also in Japan, China, Europe, Latin America and other parts of the world.

Also, JYJ has been honorary ambassadors for G20 in 2010, U.N in 2011 and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Nuclear Security Summit in 2012.

Jaejoong is filming a movie “Jackal is Coming” and Yoochun is currently filming a drama called “I Miss You.” Junsu is currently still on his world tour for his solo album.

JYJ members appointed as ambassadors for KBEE 2012

The boys of JYJ were recently named the ambassadors for the ‘2012 Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo (KBEE)‘.

They had already been selected, but were formally appointed on the 17th through a press event. On appointing JYJ as ambassadors, KOTRA, the KBEE 2012 host, said, “JYJ have been selected as the ambassadors for ‘KBEE 2012′. We’re looking forward to them becoming the icon of exchange between Japan and Korea because they are Hallyu stars that are well loved in both countries.
