[NEWS] 111006 JYJ featured in My Paper Singapore – “JYJ Pleads To TV Stations To End Broadcast Ban”

For nearly a year, JYJ has been banned from Korean TV stations, they expressed frankly that they feel sad about being prevented from performing in their own country.

According to South Korean media reports, the three former members of TVXQ, Jejung, Yuchun and Junsu, who have made a new start as JYJ. However, it has been rumoured that Lee Soo Man of SM(their former company) had obstructed their appearance on KBS, making KBS blacklist JYJ, citing that they are involved in a lawsuit as the excuse.

Furthermore, KBS assumed that the acronym PSM which is part of the lyrics of their new song, Pierrot refers to President SM, the boss of SM Lee Soo Man. They banned the song, saying that it was a personal attack on Lee.

“Please help us!”

It has been a year since JYJ released their first ENglish album, “The Beginning” but they still have not been able to make an appearance on any television music program in South Korea.

Recently they released their first Korean album “In Heaven” and the three members expressed their desire to appear on Korean television music shows.

JYJ said, “We want to go on the programs, please help us! Especially since we have released a Korean album which should be eligible for the music charts of the television music shows.”

“We are Koreans, therefore we wish to have promotional activities as singers in Korea. We have received a lot of support from other countries, yet we cannot promote freely in our own country, we feel very sad about this.”

We Just Want A Fair Chance To Perform On Stage

“Our fans have waited a long time for this album, we are very ple

ased that we were able to release it. Although we could be saying ‘It would be great if our song is first on the charts’, we do not want to say that, we only want a fair chance to stand on stage to perform. However, even up till now we have not been given such a chance, which causes us a lot of distress.”

[NEWS] JYJ Invited to Busan Int. Film Festival, Will Hold a Celebratory Performance

JYJ Impressive Despite No Appearances on TV. Invited to Busan International Film Festival

The 3-member male group JYJ will attend the 16th Busan International Film Festival.

On the 6th, the agency C-JeS Entertainment revealed that JYJ “will step onto the red carpet along with the actors for the ‘Star Road’ activity for the Pusan International Film Festival and on the same day will hold a celebratory performance in the ‘Night of the Actors’ activity.”

The agency relayed as follows: “As the prestige of the Busan International Film Festival has gone up, the host requested that they wished to invite JYJ who have positioned themselves as global stars, and we accepted happily. The members are very happy about being invited to a place in which the best of the actors gather. They will gift a good performance.”

On the other hand, JYJ released recently a special album titled In Heaven. They will perform in Japan on the coming 15th and the 16th and then in Spain on the 29th and in Germany on the 6th of next month.

[INTERVIEW] Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu Talk About Themselves as Actors

JYJ Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu. Elvis Was An Actor At Least…

The members of the group JYJ are gaining the title of actors.

Kim Junsu (24) began by appearing at the beginning of last year in the musical Mozart!. Park Yoochun (25) and Kim Jaejoong (25) have one after the other shown good acting. They are in the middle of becoming recognized in their abilities as actors.

Recently, Kim Jaejoong received favorable reviews for his portrayal of the 3rd generation chaebol Cha Muwon, who was frigid and serious but had a warm heart. He scratched his head, saying: “I was the last one among he members to act. Prior to I acted Junsu and Yoochun had shown good acting in musicals and dramas so I felt much pressure.”

He also had much fear. He is not satisfied in himself, even though there are more positive reviews than negative ones for his first acting: “I think I started the drama when my mindset was not groomed to be that of an actor. I think I can show a more improved self in my next project.”

However, he did smile: “Prior to starting the drama, I did have the wish that at the very least I did not want to seem like a singer among the other actors. Fortunately, I think the drama came out well, and so I feel happy.”
